Q: Can you switch the nose of a 1976 Dodge Charger to the nose style of the 1974 Chargers?
I have a 76 Charger and was wondering if it was even remotely possible to put a nose from a 74 charger on it?
A: Not possible without lots of fabrication. Dodge completely redesigned the Charger in 1975. No body parts are interchangeable. If you notice the body lines that run down the sides of the 1974 and earlier Charger are completely different than the 1975 and newer Charger. The proportions are different also. If you managed to force the parts to fit the end result may look hacked up.
Many parts from the 1971 – 1974 Charger are interchangeable.
Parts from the mid to late 70’s Chrysler Cordoba and Dodge Magnum should interchange.
Q: How come some cops drive dodge chargers and others drive the standard crown victoria?
A: Each Police Force chooses its own vehicles, the crown victoria is a favorite in law enforcement because it has alot of space for computer, gun rack, ect. different cars do different jobs in the police force.
Q: How reliable are Dodge Chargers with a Hemi as a used car?
And can they use regular gas as opposed to premium?
A: their pretty good cars used or new, even the used ones will be well taken care of,people bought these and took good care of them gas mileage isn’t worth talking about,if you see 20 miles to the gallon from it your doing really good, most of them though wont even get that, they run and drive really good though,id have any car checked though before i bought it just to be sure about it,its worth a small fee to have one checked, but they are good cars, and have plenty of power, good luck with it.
Q: Is the California Highway Patrol going to start purchasing Dodge Chargers for their fleet?
I notice that local police agency’s have purchase them but the CHP are still riding around in ageing Crown Victoria’s.
A: I hope not…
The Chargers are ‘turd-mobiles’…
Good for going straight…. hard to see out of, no room inside. Noisy, etc.
Crowns are still the best car for police service.
Q: what are good exhaust systems for dodge chargers?
I have a stock 2007 v6 3.5L charger. im trying to gain some HP as well as make it sound better, but i dont rly wanna break the bank for a magnaflow if i dont need it. any suggestions?
A: check out what borla is offering on those cars now they make a real good sounding system to fit that car that wont break your bank account and they are all stainless steel and last as long as they sound good, good luck, http://borlaexhaust.com
Q: any 1969 dodge chargers for sale and if so what is the going rate?
I have a thing for muscle cars and the 69 charger r/t is my favorite.
I would like to know an average rate of one of these to see if i can afford it in a year or so?
preferably as a project because i would like to add some modern features to it but if i came across an original verision that was in good condition i wouldn’t modify it.
A: with the market the way it is a car is only worth what someone will pay for it. if you find a 69 charger then offer the guy what ever you feel comfortable paying. chances are no one else is trying to buy it and you ll end up with a deal. and if you dont get it, another will show up. just remember one thing. there is always a better deal somewhere else. so as long as you are happy with what you pay and what you get then nothing else matters.
Q: Why do some dodge chargers come with silver grille and others come with black?
A: style
Q: How come the new Dodge Chargers do not come in manual transmission? It is a “sport” car after all.?
There are 4-door sports sedans available in V-8, stick as well as rear-wheel drive…BMWs M3, M5, Cadillac CTS-V, Pontiac G8, Audi RSs, why not include them?
A: One of my favorite cars growing up was the Dodge Charger. I even fell in love with the Dodge Daytona Chargers and even the 80’s Daytonas. So when I found out they didn’t come in a manual transmission, I refused to even think about getting one.
It’s just another sign that Dodge doesn’t know what people want. Many people are going to want a manual transmission. But I have yet to see any reason why they would not have that option. I’ve heard rumors why, but nothing concrete.
Dodge was my favorite company for years. The new Chargers have made me go to foreign cars.
Q: Which 1969 dodge chargers had the word dodge on the fender?
no its not the superbird. i know alot about these cars but i visited a mopar junkyard and this one car stuck because it had “DODGE” on the right front quarter. the car was bronze.
It was a 1969 dodge charger. if any of u could or would like to send me your email so i could send you an actual picture i will do that.
A: was this a coronet that you seen in the junk yard, because i think i have seen the name dodge on the fender of one of those before not positive though, and was the letters in sort of gold color, good luck.
Q: When will the price of 2006 Dodge Chargers get under $10,000?
I would like to get a black Dodge Charger with leather seats and maybe a spoiler. When will the price get under $10,000?
A: For leather seats you’ll have to get an R/T or SRT8, I don’t think the SE or SXT came with them, and the chances of finding one for under $10 is pretty slim, you may want to look at auto auctions and see if you can find a repo-ed one.
Factory style spoilers can be bought for under $200.00, another $100.00 for paint and the install is easy to do yourself.
Q: Do 2008 or maybe 2009 Dodge Chargers come standard with an aux plug in the stereo?
I’m renting a dodge charger in vancouver next week, curious if i’ll be able to just plug my ipod into it or if i should burn some cds for my trip
A: If it helps, my fathers 2006 Daytona Charger R/T did not come with an AUX input. However, if you burn the data files to a disk, then the stock headunit can play them as MP3 files.
Q: What are the CHEAPEST headrest tvs that will match my Dodge Chargers Light Graystone leather interior? 7″+ ?
Hey, I’m worried if I buy a set of headrest tv’s that they wont completely match my Chargers “Light Graystone” interior. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please give me links to products. CHEAPEST POSSIBLE!!! Thanks.
A: No such thing as a cheap LCD TV.

Nice answer.
Q: What do you think about the new Dodge Chargers? How are the safety ratings?
A: it has an average of 3 stars out of 5 stars
Q: What is the VIN designator for police package dodge chargers?
I know for ford crown vics it P71
A: I don’t know that there is a VIN designation. Here are two Charger Police Package VINs from live eBay Motors auctions today:
2B3KA43H37H818246
2B3KA43H57H600261
And three from other Chargers on eBay.
2B3KA73W27H685141
2B3KA43R27H642802
2B3KA53H57H887154
All are 2007 model years. I don’t see a pattern or difference. The H###### at the end is the production number, and the 7 in the ninth digit is the year indicator.
Q: How many 1969 Dodge Chargers were factory 426 Hemi’s?
Just curious how rare they are, because i have 2 of them with factory matching numbers 426 hemi engines, and they are just sitting here rotting away, i was just curious how many of them were made in 1969?.
No stupid answers, or i will destroy you……
A: RT – 400 production units of the Hemi Charger R/T. Around 192 of the Hemi-powered cars had four-speed manual transmissions in 1969.
Charge 500 – Only 67 Charger 500s were built with the 426 Hemi; 27 with 4-Speeds and 40 with Torqueflites.
Daytonas – 70 were 426 Hemi power, 22 4-Speed and 48 Torqueflite.
If you have a daytona with a HEMI it is worth a lot of dough
