Q: Anyone know where I can buy a cheap, old dodge charger?
Looking for a 1968 or 1969. Want to restore the car so if the car is in bad shape thats ok.

A: Try E-BAY.

Q: where can i buy a cheap 1970 dodge charger?
First it has to be in Australia.
Second Im not looking to spend a lot, Im mostly looking for a project car one i can fix up.
if anyone knows anything let me know.
one that works but needs heaps of work done to it

A: one can be shipped to you for the right price,if you don’t find any try this guy right here ,if he has one it can be shipped to you,he knows where lots of project cars are at,good luck http://drmopar.com

Q: Anyone know of a CHEAP 1969 Dodge Charger for sale?
I’ve tried eBay, the bidding gets outrageous. Where’s the best place to look?

A: Craigslist.org, or klode.com if you are a handy guy.

Q: how do i find a cheap dodge charger that starts FROM 200 and goes to 2000?

A: ebay motors or craigs list

Q: Does anyone know where to find a really cheap 1970 dodge charger Near Tallahassee, FL?

A: there are no cheap ones anymore, when you mention a challenger the price automatically goes up,the cheapest one i have seen lately was around 3000 bucks and that was a hull no engine or transmission and it needs restored,it was listed on a web site,i,ll send you the site it might still be there, good luck, click on the button that says more arrivals,http://drmopar.com/

Q: Does anyone know where I could find a 1970 Dodge Charger for cheap cash?

A: My guess would either be on e-bay,swap meet, Hemmings(not necassarily cheap) or on someones farm stored in a barn.

Q: Where can i get cheap parts for a 1974 dodge charger SE?
I just bought 74 charger SE and the inside is very bad the dash is cracked seats are bad and worst no radio.

A: You cannot use the word “cheap” and “Dodge Charger” in the same sentence. The Charger is one of the most sought after cars in the Chrysler line up.

This company http://www.justdashes.com/ does complete recovering of dashes, door panels, etc. for Chrysler products. Dash covers are much cheaper than a complete recovering and don’t look too bad but they can be detected.

http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/ has a complete line of interiors for Chrysler products and use modern materials that are more durable than OEM and many have the original grain look.

The radios were not very good in 1974 so you’re not really missing anything there but it is difficult to fit a modern radio in the dash panel without destroying the original design, both knobs on the left (I think that was ‘74). Having said that, there are vendors that sell the original radio with modern internals, some with pigtails for a CD player.

Or you can go to http://www.yearone.com/ and see their offerings which is an all in one company.

Q: Where can I find cheap parts for a 1974 Dodge Charger SE?
I am restoring my charger and one thing I’m looking for that I can not find is a cable for the sunroof.

A: check paddocks out and also year one. hemmings may have it. but your probley gonna find it on ebay. kinda of a rare option so dont mess it up make sure you do it right.

Q: this is a long shot I know but does any one know where I could buy a very cheap 69 dodge charger?
in fairly good condition

A: i got a site that they pop up on once in a while for sale on,there usually not to cheap, but reasonably priced, one to restore now is bring around 5 grand,so you may find one on here, good luck,,http://www.oldride.com/

Q: Where can I buy a cheap 1968-70 dodge charger?
I’ve been combing the internet for one but i can’t seem to find one(in my price range anyways).

A: Check here

http://www.findautoparts.us

Q: where can a find a used 2005 dodge charger for a cheap price?

A: AutoTrader.com/Magazines!
Cars.com
NADA.com

Q: wher can i find a cheap 1969 dodge charger r/t for sale and I mean cheap?
running, not much repair needed

A: HA!! good luck. I dont mean to be rude but a 69 charger that runs, just runs and still looks like shit would run you about 12,000 or more on ebay. I have seen solid shells with no motors go for more than that. If your feeling lucky try www.ebay.com

Q: where can i find a 1969 dodge charger for sale cheap and not on ebay?

A: Autodealer.com

Q: Cheap way to add horsepower to a 08 dodge charger r/t??
I just got a brand new charger r/t and I put some flows and I’m not sure how many horespower that added if it even added any but what’s a way to add some serious horesepower but not pay serious money?

A: Flowmasters didn’t add any horsepower. You still have your factory horsepower rating.

But more importantly, you want torque. Horsepower is an imaginary unit, calculated from torque, which is an actual measurement.

That said, you’re not going to get serious torque, without serious money. It just doesn’t work that way.

Q: where can I buy a cheap grill for my Dodge Charger?

A: check your local salvage yards they may have one to fit it ,if not this place right here I’m sending you will have one to fit it,and they ship too anywhere, and their cheap on their parts ,good luck with it.http://www.partstrain.com/ShopByVehicle/DODGE

Find great deals and more information about the used Jeep Wrangler! At your favorite automotive site ABlog4Guys.com.com

Q: Is it plausible to buy a used jeep wrangler for $2-3000?
I am getting ready to start shopping for a car, and would love to buy a Jeep Wrangler. The only problem is that i am low on cash. I will be buying the car used, with under 80,000 miles on it. I just wanted to know if this was reasonable, and if so, could i get a link to just an example of this Jeep for under $3500 or so.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: I am looking for a good YJ jeep wrangler to get. What year and size engine is best? what to look for in used?
I onced owned a 90 6-cylinder & had to sell it for my car to save on gas. Now I’m not driving as much I want to get a jeep again. I prefer the YJ 1992-1995. I don’t want a carburetor because they don’t seem effecient. Any advice for what to get or what to look for in a used wrangler? Is the 2.5L 4 cylinder too weak of an engine?I dont plan on wheelin it but I want to be able to take a good trail or I wouldn’t get a jeep.I want to buy one in stock condition because I know why people get their jeep’s built to take off road… they take them off road. What I mean is I trust the history of a stock vehicle better. Are there problem area’s I should look for or avoid in buying a used 92-95 wrangler? My old jeep was a soft top and I was wondering if hard tops leak after the seal is broken once you take it off? I dont want people thinking I am not a jeep guy,I know what I am getting into and thats why I am going back,I just was wondering what anyone had for advice or what to look for. Thanks!

A: I had a 95 and was very pleased other than the performance of the 4 cylinder. It got great gas mileage and had more than enough pep around town, but it suffered on the interstate and in hilly ground trying to keep your speed up. A 4 cylinder is fine off road due to most trails are low speed and you can use the gears for power, plus more power can mean more breakage. If you can find one though the 6-cyl. is the best bet. Mine also had a hard top which is GREAT but be sure to have a soft top for the summer months because the hard top is a pain to take off all the time. My top did leak after it was removed the first time and the problem was the seal above the vent windows that didn’t seal up good against the top. One other problem to be aware of is they have weak 5-speed transmissions. I lost 5th gear two times in it and a friend of mine now has 5th gear out on her 95 model also. Don’t get me wrong, I had it for 10 years and had great luck out of it overall. Other than the transmission I only did oil changes on it and regular maintenance. Good luck!

Q: What is the average cost of a used Jeep Wrangler?
I was thinking somewhere around 2002-2006, what would be the average price?

A: Whatever the average buyer is willing to pay for it.

Q: Which used jeep wrangler is best?
I am a first time car buyer, and i am looking for a jeep wrangler. which year and model is best?

A: 1997 – 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ is what I prefer. Then a 2003 – 2006 TJ Rubicon is the best of the TJs.. Just make sure that you get one with a 4.0 I-6 motor.

Q: 2007 Jeep Wrangler used in nj?
I am really interested in buying a 2007 used jeep wrangler sport. I think they’re really cute and I want one as my first car. However I can’t find too many cheap ones. I don’t mind settling on a 2006, and I prefer it to be black. Any help?

A: Typically Wranglers hold their resale value VERY well…It’s a fun vehicle and are usually in high demand so the prices don’t drop very fast.
That being said, they are in MORE demand in the summer vs the winter, so you may have better luck finding someone who’s tired of driving one in the winter and wants to sell.

Jeep changed the body style in 2007 to the JK, so if you look at a 2006 you are looking at a different wrangler (TJ). There are several differences and the interior of the JK is VERY different than the TJ.

Q: the best place to find a used jeep wrangler?
want to find a used jeep wrangler under $4000

A: I dont know where you are located but best bet would be…

http://craigslist.org (in your area)
http://cars.com

http://autotrader.com

Hope That Helps

Q: im lookin to buy a used jeep wrangler?
where are some places besides craigslist i can go to find a used jeep wrangler for around $3000 in florida?
ty

A: If you find a jeep for less than $3,000 you need to be very weary of it. Its either going to be in ROUGH shape, or need a lot of repair work.
Generally Wranglers hold their value very well. They’re generally reliable, but more than that there’s always buyers so supply/demand helps keep the cost up. The problem is sometimes the older they are, the value starts to go back up (CJ’s are highly sought after). Your best bet is to find an old YJ (late 80’s early 90’s) but know the YJs are very rugged by modern day standards and will more than likely need a lot of tjc to keep running as a daily driver. They are generally rough to drive also because they don’t use coil suspension but are very easy to work on. You’ll know it’s a YJ because it will have square headlights.
To give perspective. I bought a 2005 wrangler (TJ) sport off a lady who mistakenly thought she was a jeep girl (and found out it wasn’t for her…so she was looking to get rid of it fast). It had 48,000 and I got it for a steal at $13,500. (Sport, soft top). Generally an 05, under 50,000 goes for $15,000 without a hardtop.

To answer your question look on, autotrader.com, ebay motors and cars.com to find a car for sale by owner.

Q: How much would a used 1997 used jeep wrangler be?
just an estimate

A: with 4cyl about 4000 to 5500 depending on the upgrades
with a 6cyl. about4500 to 7000 depending on upgrades

Q: I want a used Jeep Wrangler, Sahara or Rubicon?
I will be using this Wrangler only on road not on any rocks or stuff like that.I will use it just like any regular car. What options should I go for? Hard or soft top? Navigation system or not? Half metal doors or full? And most importantly, STANDARD or AUTO trans? How much would all of this cost?

A: Great questions. You are very smart to ask before you buy.
I just went through this with my daughter. We just helped her buy a used jeep. We went looking for a wrangler but bought a different jeep. Which one? I will tell you at the end of this reply.
Are you buying new or used?
We bought used. The Rubicon option is named after the famous Lake Tahoe off road trail. It is an expensive upgrade meant to allow a jeep to negotiate this very rugged off road trail. This upgrade is not necessary if you are staying on the paved roads.
A Hard top is more secure, more quiet, and warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. You can always remove it for the summer and buy a soft bikini top. Navigation is subjective. Half or full doors to me are also subjective which just means these two options are more about your personal preference. An automatic transmission is better for driving in traffic. If you have the luxury of driving on traffic free roads the manual transmission is more fun and will give you a little better gas mileage if you drive it correctly.
After all of this my daughter drove several jeeps. She found them to be somewhat “rickety”. She saw a 4 wheel drive jeep Liberty drove it, fell in love with it, and bought it. I have to say the liberty is just a little more refined than the wrangler. I love wranglers she loves libertys.

Q: buying a used car jeep wrangler?
can anyone tell me what is a good deal for buying a used jeep wrangler, i’m a chick n don’t know much about cars! like what is a good milage, and price? thank you all! and is there anything i should look for?
any year specific? i want to stay within the 2k-7 k 7k being the top price i’ve seen a lot of 1990’s

A: I am a chick that recenlty purchased a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport for $8000. I think I got a great deal since the Jeep has everything I wanted. I needed an automatic because I am terrible driving stick. I also wanted both the hard top and the soft top which mine came with. My jeep gets around 18 miles per gallon which is not great but it is so worth it. I would definately go for the 6 cylinder though, much better engine and my mechanic says it will last a lot longer than the 4 cylinder. You can get a nice Jeep for a decent price if you are ok with higher mileage (which really isn’t a big deal, Jeeps will last forever) Now that I have had my first Jeep I will own one forever. Good luck with your purchase!

Q: New or Used jeep Wrangler?
I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee with 150,800 miles on it, i want to upgrade to a jeep wrangler, but i dont know if its better to buy a used one or to trade the cherokee in and get a new wrangler?

A: If your Cherokee is a 4×4 and running well…why not put some money into it and upgrade that way?

Even used Wranglers in good shape are quite pricey.

You may get a little better off road capability with the Wrangler (new or used), but the Cherokee has it’s own advantages such as more cargo/passenger space…more comfort…better safety…and can do almost as much off road as a stock Wrangler in the hands of an experienced driver.

I’ve driven both, and each has it’s advantages…but I am partial to the Cherokee (if you couldn’t already tell).

Good Luck on whatever you decide.

Q: is a used jeep wrangler worth getting ?
i saw a jeep wrangler unlimited or rubicon and it was selling for $21,990 (australian) ( im not entirely sure if its used but im guessing it is considering the price…)

A: it is a good reliable vehicle. if you are looking for for something to use off road then this is the car for you

Q: how much would a used jeep wrangler be?
i want a jeep wrangler the model year can be from any where around 2003 to 2008

A: Go to www.kbb.com see what is the average and then go to craigslist and see what they are going for in a big city near you, go from there

Q: Is buying a used Jeep Wrangler a good buy? Need advice before hubby buys one.?
We can only afford a used one maybe no more than $9K.

A: As a long term Wrangler owner, I’d have to say YES–as long as you do your homework regarding blue book, etc. It’s not unusual for Wranglers to actually sell for higher than blue book, though, depending on what part of the country you’re living in. You’ll want to do a little research regarding the market in your specific location before you buy.

I’ve owned three Wranglers–I bought the first two used, drove both for a few years, then sold each of them for more than I paid for them. This past year, I finally went in and bought one brand new, right off the lot. They’re fun vehicles, and as vehicles go, a decent investment. I wouldn’t drive anything else! Good luck..and have fun! It’s a JEEP thing!

Q: Used Jeep Wrangler? please help?
I’m looking for a used Jeep Wrangler(1990-2000) in southern California, anybody know a place that is specialized in used jeeps or a good way to find one. And if any of you know anybody that is selling one that would be even better, if they are in my area.

also how does this one look to you

http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp;jsessionid=pqtzrLEwoRoUpiFkE1sRgCh?tab=photos&paId=279124410&recnum=242&tracktype=usedcc&pageNumber=4&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&criteria=K-%7cE-%7cM-_23_%7cD-_249_%7cN-N%7cR-50%7cI-1%2c7%7cP-PRICE+descending%7cQ-descending%7cZ-92614&aff=national

A: It looks great for an 89 , i didn’t notice the mileage or how many cyl. If it’s original engine it’s carburated also…. One issue the YJ’s had was the frame … You would really have to get under this one and check it all out before you say yes… My wife has the same yr wrangler and we had some issues that needed welding … We also changed the stock Carter Carb to a Webber because of how crappy it ran … Runs great since then …..no issues since we resolved those two and its been two + years …. You could look on e-bay motors to start , that will give you many options …. Good Luck

Find great deals and more information about the Ferrari Italia 458 ! At your favorite automotive site ABlog4Guys.com.com

Q: ferrari 458 italia vs lamborghini lp570-4 superleggera?
Im having this debate with my friends and i wants to know what is better the ferrari an dlambo both produces 562 horse power and both goes 0-60 in about 3.4 seconds and bot hhits 202 mph but the thing is the lambo is 89 pnds lighter but the ferrari dual cluutch system is faster and is faster and more fluid as i been told so i want your opinion whats better.

A: I do believe Ferrari is at a peak with the 458, it’s one of the best Ferraris I think ever made. However, the Lambo is very good to.. I think its really just a matter in preference.

Q: Ferrari Italia 458, cost?
I know it isn’t out yet and won’t be until next year but what are your predictions on how much this car is going to cost?

Don’t say I wouldn’t be able to afford it because I don’t want to buy it just curious about the cost
Thank you Leo for asking

A: Base Price: expected to start at 150,000 the add on a few extras, i will ask when i go to the Frankfurt Motor Show this autumn.

Q: Ferrari Italia 458, Cost?
I know it isn’t out yet and won’t be until next year but what are your predictions on how much this car is going to cost?

Don’t say I wouldn’t be able to afford it because I don’t want to buy it just curious about the cost

A: Who knows, but have you seen the interior? Absolutely gorgeous!

Q: Top Gear: Does anybody know if the Ferrari 458 Italia has been ‘Stigged’?
Love that car..

A: Sorry Nat – I don’t really take much notice of cars since I’ve had my bus pass!

Q: ferrari 458 italia questions?
can someone explain to me how this engine is going to be better than the ferrari f430 scuderia engine

both are v8’s
and so far i dont belive either are going to be twin turbo
of course twin turbo or supercharged would make them faster right?

if not what else can
I have seen on youtube some ferrari’s beat other cars with say twin turbo and bigger engines
how is this possible
a ferrari f430 scuderia beats the Lambo Gallardo which has like a 5.2 liter v10
and it beats a bmw m3

A: The 458 Italia has a 4.5 L V8 which is .2L larger than the 430’s. The 458’s engine revs to 9000 rpm, 500 rpm higher than the 430. Those two factors plus other advancements such as direct injection, higher compression ratio and a whole slew of other features make the 458’s engine even more efficient and powerful. The 458’s new twin clutch gearbox also makes for faster shifts than the 430’s F1 gearbox, giving it even more of an advantage.

There will be no twin turbos or superchargers – its naturally aspirated. The reason the Scuderia is able to beat a Gallardo is all in the power to weight ratio. The Gallardo is heavy, the Scuderia is light. They both make over 500 hp. If you do the math the Scuderia has the advantage. The M3 is less powerful, weighs more so it is no wonder it isn’t as fast.

Q: Ferrari 458 italia? who else thinks this it the sexiest car on earth!?

A: sorry. not me. i have my eyes on this baybeh.

http://pictures.topspeed.com/IMG/crop/200903/2009-aston-martin-one-77-8_1280×0w.jpg

mmmmmmmm…………
now thats sexy

Q: Wots better Ferrari 458 italia or ferrari 430?
Tell me witch one u think better and y and wot colour u think would be cool

A: The 458 is indeed the 430’s successor. The 458 is obviously better because it is newer and is faster. For colors, I would say black for a 430 and Rossa Corsa for a 458.

Q: What you think the new ferrari 458 Italia?
Ferrari got a three exhaust,acceleration to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes just 3.4 seconds,top speed 320km/h (200mph).A new direct-injected 4.5-liter V8 ups the power ante it 570 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque.
Here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO7Aw5pDtzE
The(back)headlights-reminds me Ferrari 575 maranello
I just love that car.

A: i think the new ferrari is an amazing car! i love any type of ferrari. i know im like a lot of people but ferraris really are an incredible car and the new 458 italia just proves how great this company is. its new sleek design and powerful engine are some of the best features and though it is replacing one of my favorite ferraris, the F430, i think it is a good switch and when putting an new, concept looking car like this on the market, is kind of like a foreshadowing of whats to come from ferrari. man, i have to tell my neighbor about this. he has a 2008 ferrari f430 spider. looks like its time to make an upgrade. oh well, the recalled all the soft tops for the ferrari spiders anyway, the car already has problems… looks like its time to trade in. haha yeah, the new ferrari is going to be a big hit!

Q: Guys: Would it be more attractive or not if a girl had a Ferrari 458 Italia?
-shes 25
-and her parents never bought her it..she bought it herself.

-she doesn’t come from a rich background , more middle class.

A: um, i think any hot girl in a hot car would be a turn on for a guy. duh. i would take the ferrari and say who cares about guys!! haha

Q: How does the Push Start work on Ferrari’s?
I’ve seen in magazines the new Ferrari ITALIA 458, If someone left their 458 unlocked and went somewhere, then someone else went in the car and push stated it, would it work? Or is there a key you need?

A: I have read info on some car’s websites, but it was not for this Ferrari. There is a remote key, when you have it in your pocket and get inside the car, the car will recognize you as the driver and the car will be turned on. I just wonder if this car uses the same technologies as the other cars I have read.

Q: 458 Italia ‘09 or Enzo Ferrari ‘02?
Which is the best all round racing vehicle?

A: Enzo would beat it on the track, it’s a track car, a drivers car. The Italia is loud and beautiful, but it’s surprinly a good drivers car. I would have the the 458

Q: What do you think are the most beautiful cars of all time?
This is my list (no particular order):
1) 2007 Aston Martin DBS
2) 2007 Jaguar XK-R
3) 1984 Ferrari Testarossa
4) Audi A5/S5
5) 1980 Ferrari 308
6) Ferrari 458 Italia
(not sure if years are all correct though)

What do you think are the best looking cars?

A: Lamborghini reventon!!!!!!!!! 2009

Q: Are all 1033 cars going to come unlocked in Gran Turismo 5?
I preordered the game and the car I am eager to test is the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Zonda R. It would be a bummer if I had to go through endless accomplishments before I actually got to unlock those two.

A: those cars will be just in the game i don’t think they will be unlocked at the start of the game
they maybe available but you will have to save money to buy them

Q: Maserati vs Lamborghini vs Ferrari?
Hello. I am 64 and retired. I am looking into buying a sports/luxury car. I can afford these cars, so don’t say I can’t.

I had my mind set on the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. However, does it drive really low to the ground? The problem for me could arise in the entering and exiting of the car. Is it a real pain?

If Lamborghini is to low to get into, my next choice would be either the Ferrari 458 Italia or the Ferrari California. I think the 458 looks more exotic, but could I ad a navigation system to it? Is it any comfortable?

Another car would be the Bentley Continental GT. Fast and luxurious at the same time. However, if I’m paying 200k for a car, I want it to be a head turner, noticeable, and something that people take photos of. Is the bentley all of that?

The last car which is 50k cheaper is the Maserati Gran Turismo S. It is a huge head turner, but it is not as fast as the cars listed above. Some people complain that the seats can be uncomfortable.

So, do you think it is worth it to spend an extra 50k on a Lamborghini, Ferrari, or Bentley over a Maserati. Although I can afford these cars, I still would like to be smart with my money.

So if you do think the extra 50k is worth it, which car should I get (Lamborghini, Ferrari, or Bentley)? If you think the Maserati is a great car, tell me please.

Thank you for your input.

A: i believe the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is your best option. The others seem to be sleek but not quite as head-turning as this car. the extra 50g’s is a must to be this truly amazing car. The car does drive really low to the ground but its not much of a problem to become a “pain”. if your willing, then this car is a must!

Q: What are your top 5 favourite cars in the world?
my top 5 are:
1.Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV (i have a thing for this car LOL)
2.Ferrari 458 Italia (one of the best lookin cars ever)
3.Nissan GTR (such a car for such little money)
4.Porsche 911 GT3 RS (da newest version, I love the colours they come in lol)
5.Aston Marin DBS (One of the most beautiful cars ever)

A: Bugatti Veyron
Lamborghini Reventon
McLaren F1
Ferrari Enzo
Pagani Zonda C12 F

Find great deals and more information about the buy Dodge Charger! At your favorite automotive site ABlog4Guys.com.com

Q: Why would you ever buy a Dodge Charger?
The guy I just started dating owns a black Dodge Charger. Are they fast? From what I hear they are expensive too. Why would you buy a Charger instead of say, a Lexus or Audi? Like what are the pros?

Just curious.

A: You missed telling us what year?

If it is 60s then it is one of the best cars ever made, fast, safe, and reliable.
This car was the General Lee. Of course it is a cool car.

If it is new then he has lots of money.

Either way I might consider trading my porsche for it.
However if it is an 80s model then I would no even trade my old van for it.

Why would a guy own a Lexus or an Audi?
Those are girly cars.

It like a Jeep thing, You just wouldn’t understand.

Q: Why would you buy a Dodge Charger?
The guy I just started dating owns a black Dodge Charger. Are they fast? From what I hear they are expensive too. Why would you buy a Charger instead of say, a Lexus or Audi? Like what are the pros?

Just curious.

A: The Charger used to be something big back in the 70’s, but now they’re just a sporty sedan. As to if they are fast or not is an opinion. Nothing compared to a Ford Mustang or the Dodge Challenger. And as for Lexus and Audi, Lexus is a pile, and Audi is simply great. Drive what you like i guess.

Q: Where can i buy a Dodge Charger Police Package?
It doesnt matter what year, 2006-2009, but i just cant find any with Police package installed in it already. I live in florida so preferably in florida. Thanks, And yes a civilian can buy it

A: Heres one it would make a good road trip.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge-Charger-5-7-HEMI-NCSHP-Charger-Low-Mileage-Police-Interceptor-Package_W0QQitemZ250329485954QQihZ015QQcategoryZ6199QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Q: I am looking to buy a dodge charger 03′ or better what would be my best option, financially?
My budget is nothing over 10,000 dollars probably a used one would do. Just wanted the best advice when buying a used car.

A: Charger is good, so is Camaro and Mustang. Just avoid anything Japanese and your fine.

Q: Can somebody show me where to buy a Dodge Charger?
I’m looking for a Dodge Charger V6 in Houston with side airbags… links are greatly, greatly appreciated.

A: Go to corporate site:

http://www.dodge.com/en/2009/charger/

Build the car you want and when you are done, do a dealer search for the car that closest matches the options and colors. The site will show you which dealer has them in stock.

Q: Should I buy the Dodge Charger challenger, or the 6 speed manual?
What is the difference between a six speed manual and 5 speed automatic? Does it make a difference on this car.

A: You are talking about the challenger (LC) because the Charger (LX) isn’t offered in a 6 spd. The manual did 1 tenth of a second better in the quarter mile, so if it performance you are worried about go with the stick, it’s also a whole lot more fun to drive, the TREMEC transmission is awesome and has a good feel. If you are just looking to cruise, I would go with the Automatic, HOWEVER these transmissions are considered NAG1 transmissions and are prone to leak out of the 13 way connector on the side of the case, no biggie if it’s still under warranty. I am a huge fan of the 6 spd I would go with that!! Oh, and one more thing, I think the 6 spd cars come with 3.73 gears in the rear!

Q: Was a good decision for you to buy a Dodge Charger?
If not, the why not? Was wrong with it?

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: Is it a good idea to buy a dodge charger with 50,000 miles on it?
2007 2008 basic model no higher than 16,000. Ive been shopping around and they range from 13,000 to 16,000.

A: depending on the year of it and the price is right it is,you should have told us the year of it,they may have it over priced, if you have checked kbb prices and its priced right the mileage isn’t bad,but the year and model plays real big role in how much one is actually worth right now, good luck on it,check the kbb price out here on it if you know the year of it, http://kbb.com

Q: I want to buy a 73 Dodge charger se but transmission is leaking how cheap to fix?
A old man is selling this charger for 4000 and I want to buy it the car is in great condition with 88k original miles but under the car where the transmission ends and the driveshaft begins there is some sort of leak maybe a rear seal or something what is that called exactly and can that be fixed without transmission removal?i need to know by wednesday please help!!!how much should it run me to be repaired

A: The rear seal on the transmission requires a Large screwdriver and a 1/2 or 3/8 inch end wrench and about $15 for the new seal. Very simple to change yourself, or you can pay to have someone do it for you. For someone with experience to do it, it is about a 30-60 minute job, should be less than $100 with parts if you have a good mechanic.

There is a good chance when the driveline is out, the u-joints in the driveline will also need to be replaced. U-joints run about $10 a piece and require a vice or press to change them. This will take the bill up to about $200 with parts if you use a mechanic.

Q: should a 16 year old girl buy a dodge charger?
I honestly love the design, and it’s under 25k (my budget)
I have a job and can make the $400ish payments every month, but would it be a stupid first car?

need opinions please!
thanks!

A: i only have one thing to say:
since you are 16, and still young
you would need something say.. a little cheaper…
also, as long as it is good on gas, i guess thats ok
keep on looking, a used car is always the best first car, maybe get a 2 or 3 year old car so you can use it, buy it cheap and cheap insurance.
dont forget insurance is more expensive for new drivers
many people have said that they were having difficulties with this car, and if you dont know lots about jump-starting a car, giving it regular maintenance ( which costs serious money) i would suggest
DONT GET THIS CAR AS YOUR FIRST CAR
(i dont mean to be harsh ok, im just giving you an honest opinion.)

Q: Does anyone know where i can buy an orange dodge charger in georgia?
cars , orange, dodge, charger

A: I work at Greenbrier dodge in Virginia and have 5 on my lot all 2008 Daytonas…….I can arange everything over the phone and internet for you and can even deliver the car to your house!!!!!Call Bryan Brooks(please ask for first and last name as there are 3 Bryans here) at (757)420-2800 I can get you one in your driveway by early next week!!!!!!!

Q: Wanting to buy a dodge charger?
I’m looking for a new (used) car, I went by a dealership earlier today and the salesman printed out a list of their inventory. In the area of cars I can afford, they have a Black, 2006 Dodge Charger, with a V8 and 85522 miles. Asking prices is 13995, with a 3500 down payment.

Good deal? or no?

A: that’s not to bad of a deal on that car, some of the v-8 cars right now are selling at high rate for some reason, but you really need to see the car and look it over real good and make sure you get clear car-fax report on it and also have an out side mechanic check it out real good ,not one from the dealer, but an independent shop, you know the dealers going to say its a good car because they get money for selling it,but an outside shop will be more honest about the overall condition of it,good luck.

Q: where can i buy these Dodge charger Rims?
Where can i buy rims like these????

http://www.autotrucktoys.com/dodge_charger/images/TFPCR-09_A.jpg

A: They actually look like rims off a new Challenger. I doubt you’d find them on ebay this soon. Check out your dodge dealer but be prepared to pay big bucks for them.

Q: Help?! Should I buy a Dodge Charger or a Nissan Altima?
I am car shopping and I have narrowed my search between the 2008 Dodge Charger or the 2008 Nissan Altima. Which would you recommend?

A: Depends on which Charger you go with.

Both vehicles will depreciate at virtually the same rate, so resale shouldn’t be a factor.

Tuning a car … well, you can tune either one. You’ll suffer reliability issues in both, and you’ll void warranties in both.

Personally, I like having the RWD of the Charger rather than the FWD of the Altima. If you’re driving in snow, supposedly FWD is better to have (I just drive my Commander, it’s got 4WD).

Looks-wise, the Altima stirs absolutely no emotion. The Dodge is very aggressive and certainly evokes passion. It’s like the difference between a Cessna and an F-14 Tomcat.

I’ve owned a number of late-model Chrysler products, including an 07 Wrangler and the Hemi Commander. Neither has had any real issues, other than an O2 sensor that went out on the Commander because SOMEONE put cheap gas in the car when gas was freakishly expensive last year. Being as I owned the car since it was new … well, I’m not saying anything other than there’s no way in hell I’m paying $5 a gallon for gas unless it’s racing fuel.

It looks like there’s an AWD version of the Charger, too. Which makes the car a bit more attractive to me, since I drive in California, where CalTrans is often doing silly things with the roads that can make driving entertaining (to the point of being “dicey”) in inclement weather.

Me, I’d go with the Charger.

Q: Should I buy a Dodge Charger R/T?
I am looking at buying either a 2008 or 2009 Dodge Charger R/T within the year to bring over to England. Really want bad seeing that the military will ship for free, but not sure. It seems like a great car and I haven’t heard anything bad about it.

A: My main comment to you is to check the fuel prices where your going. If they are $7-8/gallon and you only get 12-15 mpg in the city, can you afford it? Also, warranty service may be slow and difficult to get where you’re going. See if the warranty is good outside N. America. Good Luck!!

Q: How much does it cost to repair a ford f150 timing belt?
I am looking at buying a 2004 ford f150, but the timing belt needs repair. Approximately how much would that be?

A: For 2005 Ford F-150, current cost of repairs due to faulty injectors, timing belt and then spark plug issue is more about $5000. You can do free repair estimate at automd site. I just got it there. You can also ask for you local auto repair shop for car estimation.

Q: How can i make My Ford f150 Get better Gas Mileage?
I have a 1997 Ford F150 2 Wheel drive on 31 inch tires and It has 77,700 miles on it. I’m a highschool student and im driving around a lot in town and my gas mileage isn’t to good. What can i do to improve it?

A: Go to stock radial tires…with full amount of recommended air. Stop driving around town…city driving is idle time..uses lots of gas. Make sure the vehicle is properly tuned and has clean oil and air filter. Keep your foot off the gas..drive progressively…and back off the throttle long before you get to the next traffic light.
Also never start your engine until after you have your seat belt on and are ready to go immediately. It adds up..leaving the car idle..2 mintes…3 times a day time 30 days…equals 90 minutes per month… I would say it will save you 6 gallons of gas per month. Good Luck

Q: my Ford F150 Van turns, but is not starting? Checked and replaced burnt fuel fusen but it still does not start?
Ford F150 Van turns, but is not starting? Checked and replaced burnt fuel fusen but it still does not start?

A: Did you try and reset the inertia switch?

Q: How to replace rear pinion bearings on 1997 ford f150 4×4?
i was replacing the pinion seal on my 1997 Ford F150 4×4, when i removed the pinion nut i noticed alot of up down side to side movement, is this normal? if not how do i replace the bearing if it is indeed bad?

A: Usually when a pinion seal goes the bearing is the culprit as to why it went in the first place, unfortunately there’s 2, an inner and outer and should be replaced at the same time, which will unfortunately require disassembly of the entire differential, however I have seen some Podunk’s just replace the outer cone, and tighten it up, however its a band aid on a bullet wound and usually doesn’t last long before it starts growling at you.

Q: How Many Bolts on the Exhaust Manifold in a 1992 Ford F150?
I need to know how many bolts hold the exhaust manifold to the engine of a 1992 Ford F150 6 Cylinder engine.

Thank you in advance!

A: Your 92 ford f-150 6 cylinder has a combination manifold which means the intake and exhaust manifold are as 1 unit, I doubled checked the manuals and there’s 16 bolts that hold it on!!

Q: Is 150K miles considered a large amount for a Ford F150 or ford truck.?
I want to buy a used truck and I wanted to know how worn down a Ford F150 or similar ford truck would be considered at 150k miles on it. Also what kind of breakdowns can be expected with a truck (ford or otherwise) with 150K miles on it. Also if this is too many miles how much would be acceptable to last 4+ years?

A: nope it is a lot of miles but if its in goodshape it can go another 300,000 anytime your buying used best to look for signs type in search box how to check a used car wil get you a list of what to look for follow that list and you wil never get a lemon last ford truck i had over 300,000 and was hauling a heavy load with it every day

Q: Where is the fuel relay switch located on a 1991 Ford F150?
I have a 91 Ford F150. I am not getting any fuel to the engine. When I checked the fuel filter, I noticed that I am not getting any power to the fuel tanks. I am thinking that it might be the fuel relay switch, cause to have both fuel pumps go out at the same time is well impossible. Please help.

A: My 93 F-150 had the fuel pump relay in a box of relays in the engine bay over the driver’s tire. The relay was a cube shape black plug-in purchased for relatively inexpensive at Auto Zone.

Q: How do i replace a brake light on my 2006 ford f150?
I have a 2006 ford f150 and i need to remove the rear right taillight assembly without breaking it. how do i do this to replace the burnt out lightbulb?

A: For the lights on the brake lights on the back of the bed take out the four screws that hold it to the body. You will have to let the tailgate down to do this. After you remove all 4 screws the lens assembly should come out very easily. For the brake light on the back of the cab above the back glass, simply remove the 2 screws. The lens assembly may give a little resistance coming off. After you get the assembly off its just a simple matter of twisting the bulb sockets out, putting new bulbs in and putting everything back together.

Q: where can i find a diagram showing how to mount the alternator on a Ford F150 with a 4.9 6 cylinder?
I need to connect the alternator on my 1986 Ford F150 4×4, 4.9 straight 6, with a/c. I know about the swing bracket near the motor, where does the other side mount up?

A: Purchase a Chilton’s or Haynes manual. It’ll give you the proper directions and illustrations.

Q: How do i change the front fuel pump in a 94 Ford F150?
I have a 94 Ford F150 with a 5 litre engine 2 wheel drive that is not getting gas. It starts when i spray starting fluid in it. I’m not exactly sure what needs to be removed to get the tank off to change the pump. Does the fuel filter line need to be taken loose first? Can I just take the straps loose and drop the tank without taking anything else apart first? What type of problems should I be aware of before I start this project?

A: If you have a hoist or just a couple of buddies the easiest is to take the bed off and all the access you need is right there. To take off the filler there should be three screws behind the filler door around the gas cap. This is required. Other than that take off your skid plate (my 94 3/4 ton has one, but my 94 1/2 ton did not) and take loose your straps, and keep an eye one the wiring harness leading up to the pump and sending unit (right hand side). Other than that just lower your tank.

Q: What could be causing my check engine light to come on on my 1997 ford f150?
2 days ago I purchased a 1997 Ford F150, 4×4, 5.4 triton V8. Has a lift kit, after market air filter and a shift kit. What could be wrong with it.

A: anything can be going wrong in ur engine compartment best bet is to take it to a shop and have the do a diagnostics test on it (usually about $60-$70) and they will tell u exactly whats goin wrong.

Q: Where can i find online info on torque specifications for a 2001 Ford F150 on the piston rod bolts?
Its a 2001 Ford F150 4.6 L V8. I need the torque specifications for the piston rod bolts. I either need you to give me the specs, or the website to access the info FOR FREE. I dont wanna buy a book for just this piece of info. Also, i begin work on the truck tomorrow, i dont have time to order a book and wait for it to ship. Serious answers only please.

A: There is a specific sequence in which the ALL the rod bolts must be tightened, but the actual torque specs. are as follows:

Stage 1: Tighten to 43 Nm (32 lb-ft).
Stage 2: Tighten an additional 105 degrees.

I was unable to copy and paste the actual sequence for the procedure due to the fact that it was shown in an illustration. I hope you are using new rod bolts because they are torque to yield specs. Hope this helps.

Q: What type of back brakes does my husband need for his 1997 Ford F150?
Disc or drum breaks? It is a 1997 Ford F150 4×4, off-road package, extended cab. We just bought it the other day and are wanting to put new back brakes on it.

A: - You’ll have to look at it to be sure as it could have either on it. You should be able to look through the holes in the wheels to determine.

- If you see nothing but rough rusty metal then it’s likely drum brakes (you’re seeing the outer surface of the brake drum).

- If you see somewhat smooth shiny silver metal then it’s likely disc brakes (you’re seeing the brake rotor).

- If you can’t tell that way, look under the truck into the backside of the wheel.

- If it’s drum brakes there will only be a large round piece of metal directly behind the wheel (the brake drum), and you will see a large round backing plate with a metal brake line going into it where the brake wheel cylinder is installed. Here’s a general picture of a truck with drum brakes:

http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/9539056+w750+st0/129_0802_03_z+ford_f150_975_axle+differential.jpg

- If it’s disc brakes there will be a thin (about 1/2 inch) metal disc. The brake caliper will be covering part of the upper/backside of the disc (rotor), and it will have a rubber brake hose going into it. Here’s a general picture of a truck with disc brakes:

http://image.off-roadweb.com/f/8572195+w750+st0/0608or_05_z+2005_ford_f_150+rear_differential.jpg

- Another possible way to find out is to call the dealer. Often times the parts department at a genuine dealership can find out specifically what kind of parts you need using the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

- However, if you’re asking this question I’m guessing you haven’t looked at it yet in which case I wonder what makes you think you need to replace them? If they are making noise, you really should have them checked before you just throw money & parts at it. Noise can be a simple as just dirt and dust buildup and a good blasting at the car wash can often fix that problem (semi-metallic brake pads are infamous for dust buildup and noise – ceramic brakes don’t have that problem as much). On the other hand, sometimes people mistake the noise of a bad wheel bearing (or other issues) for bad brakes. Most shops won’t charge much, if anything at all to check your brakes for you if you don’t know how to yourself. A $20 inspection fee is better than $150 worth of parts that weren’t needed! Ask some people you know what shop they would recommend. Word-of-mouth is the usually the most reliable way to find a trustworthy mechanic.

Q: how many quarts transmission gear oil do you need for a 1995 ford f150 5 speed transmission?
We have just replaced one of the shift forks in my 1995 ford f150 5 speed transmission. It is ready for the gear oil but not sure how many quarts I will need.

A: I’m not sure of the total amount, but you fill it until it overflows from the fill plug. Make SURE you use the correct fluid. Not all 5 speeds take gear oil. Many take ATF, so be aware.

Q: What kind of ignition does a 1995 Ford F150 have?
I own a 1995 2WD Ford F150. The other night I went to the store, and when I came back out and tried to start the thing, it wouldn’t even turn over. There was plenty of battery power and all the auxiliaries came on, but when I turned it to start where the engine start to crank all I heard was a tap. One single tap like something hitting a plate. Any idea what is wrong and what I need to get to fix it? Also, is this an easy fix or a pretty complicated one?

A: The ign is a TFI hall effect system, but the problem you are having is either a bad starter or bad starter relay on the passenger fender. Set the parking brake and place in neutral or park and using a screw driver short the 2 big terminals on the relay on the fender, if you have a spark and no crank then the starter is bad, if it cranks the relay is bad

Q: Do the new Dodge Charger’s have a touchy feel (steering, and pedals)?
Just seems like that kind of car to me.
I have a 2000 Chevy Cavalier. lol

A: i been working on a used car lot for about ten years now and i can tell you from experience that the charger will out drive the cavalier, their not soft and spongy feeling like some people say they are, funny thing is we could sell 20 cavaliers if we had them right now,we got two chargers on the lot right now and no buyers for them, the one charger we got im test driving it and it like the way it drives,a lot of people right now want the front wheel drive vehicles though, the charger handles really good to me,if your use to driving a front wheel drive car it takes some getting use to,hope this helps out some.

Q: I just bought a new Dodge 09 Black Charger. Any help on a good nickname for it? ?
Black Dodge Charger Nickname
Help me out guys! Thanks :]

A: I will call it “The Big Black Bankruptcy”

Q: Im saving up to buy a new 2007 Dodge charger, how much money do i have to put down to get the car?

A: depends on your credit, it doesnt matter if its a 08 or a 98, credit is the key, I just bout new car last year and told them I’d give them $50 down, and thats on a $26k brand new vehicle.

When you go, haggle on the total price, not the payments, once you get them down little bit then talk about payments, the sales person will probably go straight to it, but dont, otherwise you’ll get the payments you want but be paying longer, and salesperson gets bigger cut.

Q: Does the New Dodge Charger RT Hemi with a standard exhaust have a V8 growl?

A: yeah it does but liek with most stock systems it can be improved on. my cousin brough over the charger police cruiser the other day and when he left he opened her up. thing sounded liek a race car engine in NASCAR. now if that was stock exhaust I dont know but made me want to go out and buy one =-)

Q: What should I be paying (after negotiating) for a new 07 Dodge Charger, 3.5 L with leather seats and sunroof?

A: You can get a target price for your zip code at www.carsdirect.com

Q: I have a new Dodge Charger – the brake warning light just started flashing, what can it be?

A: It means you bought a Dodge. Hope you learned your lesson.

Q: i want to buy new dodge charger 07?
tell me what do you think should i go for it or look for another car

A: well its actually pretty nice, i mean you cant go wrong with a hemi, so make sure if you get one get the sxt model that comes with a 340hp v8

Q: Would you trade an 03 Mustang Gt for a new Dodge Charger R/T?
Mustang is very nice,Bought it new ,31000 miles,flowmasters,owe 13 mo.on it.Candy apple red.
Charger same color,5.7 HEMI.4 Door.5 year $500 mo.What would you do?

A: Without knowing what you need it’s hard to say but…

I bought a Charger R/T last you and I LOVE this car. I already have 24k miles on it, 0 problems, and it rolls. You can mod it all day (as long as you’ve got money).

If you decide to go this way make sure you get the Daytona (if you like the decals) or else get the Road and Track option group.

Q: Is a factory hood scoop available on the new, 2006-08, Dodge Charger?
I believe I have seen some on these vehicles. Cost?

A: You can get any of them with a hood scoop, just talk to your dealer. They will just put the SRT8 hood on it, but it will costs ya around 1800 bucks. I would suggest just buy an aftermarket hood, much cheaper.

Q: A Dodge Charger for a new driver would be a good choice?
I’m just getting my driver’s license after a month, so I just need some help choosing the model, so which one will be the best for me now?

Help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance
2008 model of course and the never mind the budget.

A: If you are getting a Charger, the R/T or R/T Daytona package are the only real choices.

Any other Charger is just a disappointment.

Q: Is a new, four door Dodge charger a sports car?
I think it’s a sedan, but I want to know what everyone else thinks

A: I would agree with the other answer, as it being a sport sedan. You have to be impressed with the performance of the SRT 8.

Q: will installing a K&N filter on a brand new Dodge Charger RT cause any engine problems?
or cause any errors in the engine software? The filter gives 22 additional Horsepower , will it also give a noiser V8 growl?

A: The only problem will be 2-5 mpg increase in mileage ( the oil companies might consider that a problem),,,I have installed a K&N filter in my Gmc Seirra, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chrysler Sebring Coupe, and all of my ATV’s…I believe they are the single best investment you can make for a gasoline or diesel powered vehicle period..The claimed power increase is not that noticed unless the engine is at high RPM’s..

Q: Do you think buying a new Dodge Charger Hemi a good idea?

A: if its the SRT-8 then id say go for it

Q: 2010 Chevy Camaro or new Dodge Charger?
I’m looking to buy a new car in a little while and I was wondering which would be the better buy. I like the looks of both the Charger and the Camaro, but I’m leaning towards the Camaro in the visual department. As far as performance and value, I don’t know which would be the better choice. I like the spaciousness of the Charger, but since the Camaro is a two-door, the back seat is a little smaller, and the trunk space is almost laughable. I don’t really think I’ll need the big trunk space for much now, but I’d like to hold on to the car for a while, maybe after I start a family or something, so then the Charger would (maybe) be a better long-term choice. Then again there is the extra $1,700 per year I’d have to pay as a gas-guzzler tax for the already more expensive Charger (I’d like to get an SRT8 and RT). The other good thing about the Camaro is that the 2SS isn’t that much much more expensive than the other packages, and they’re all pretty good, whereas the Charger goes from “meh” to “WOW” between the packages. So with all this knowledge, and whatever else you may know about these cars, which would you get? Which is more worth getting? Any fan boys/girls out there with some knowledge about past Chargers and Camaros are more than welcome, but none of that “Don’t get the Charger! It’s got 4 doors!” crap, I like the way it looks. That’s a big reason in why I want one. Thanks for your help!

A: Just buy the Bugatti

Q: Does Anyone Have a New Dodge Charger R/T?
Did you get a good deal on it from the dealer?

Are you satisfied with it?

Does it feel as fast as the Mopar muscle cars of the early 70’s?
SRT8 with the 6.1 liter looks the like baddest-I saw one in one of those crazy early ’70s colors-neon green-wasn’t even on the Dodge website; $35 Gs a little pricey though.

A: i have one its not all they say it is its not at all as fast as a mucle car from the 70s so dont waste you money on it!!

Q: Do the new jeep wranglers have good power?
I had a 2005 unlimited wrangler and i have a 91 yj wrangler now its getting up there and i wanted to drive it less and i was looking at the 2010 2011 jeep wranglers i haven’t driven one yet just wanted to know how they compare with power and anything else about them which model would be the best to buy a sahara, sport, rubicon. Does anyone have one? Jeeps are the s**t!

A: sport as in 2010 or 11 is now a base package for just someone looking for a budget, sahara has always been the luxury version, ans rubicon the hardcore offroader. if on a budget get the sport, sahara for the luxury, and if you like to offroader alot then the rubi. power wise the v6 has hp and torque than the legend 4.0. but moving the wrangler in traffic and highway ive heard the 4.0 feels more powerful. ive own nothing but jeeps with the 4.0 and maybe im a traditionlist but i will always remember the 4.0 as being the best and most powerful engine ever put into a wrangler.

Q: Did 98 Jeep Wranglers come wired for front speakers?
I purchased a 98 wranger that didnt come with speakers in the front dash, so I purchased a pair of 4×6s but the wiring is all funky from previous instalations of various lights etc. Are 98 Jeep Wranglers wired for front speakers? Or do I need to pull out the radio and run wires from there?

A: My ‘98 had front speakers wired into the dash. I’ve come across several pieces of wiring that were installed but not used on my particular wrangler such as cruise control wiring and fog light wiring. I would assume that the wiring is already there even if it wasn’t used on your Wrangler. I think they install all the wiring on every Jeep whether it will be used on that particular one or not.

Q: Do you find that jeep wranglers have enough driver space?
I want to get a jeep wrangler in a couple of year and im 6′2 ill probly be around 6′5-6′6ish when i get my jeep. Will i have enough room in the drivers seat cuz some jeeps have little room on the interior

A: The driver and passenger seats are roomy, its the back seat that wasn’t designed for “adults” in mind. Go to a dealership and sit and drive one.

If you’re gonna spend that kind of cash, you should at least check them out in person. Personally, I love mine

Q: what is the deference between the 2010 4 door jeep wranglers: sport, rublican, and the sahara?
I was shopping for the new jeep wranglers today that are 4 door and there were 3 different kinds one called sport the other Rubicon and the other the Sahara… what are the differences?

A: The differences are primarily trim and standard convenience options, which you can review on the official Jeep site. IIRC, the Sport and Rubicon have black fenders, the Sahara has matching painted fenders. The Sport has 16″ wheels, Sahara has 18″, Rubicon 17″. The Sahara and Rubicon come with remote entry, power windows, cruise control, fog lamps, tow hooks and leather wrapped steering wheel, which are all options on the Sport.

The Rubicon has mechanical differences making it more off-road capable, including electronically-disconnecting front sway bar (better articulation for rock crawling, can be added to other models for about $1k, or use manual disconnects for around $100), beefier Dana 44 front axle (less likely to break, not an available factory option on the others, about $1,500 aftermarket), Electronic front-and-rear differential lockers (better traction, about $1k/axle third-party upgrade), lower gear ratios (1:4.11 vs 1:3.73 for better power for crawling/mud, about $800 axle aftermarket) and off-road tires in a slightly larger size than the other models (about $200/tire x5), and a rock rails.

Q: are there any jeep wranglers that have a seat adjustment?
are there any jeep wranglers that have a seat adjustment? i am 4′11 and i am buying a jeep, and i tested a basic ‘09 and the seat slides forward and backward, but i need it to be able to raise the seat so i can see over the wheel. what model of jeep wrangler has this feature? and i also want it to have a plastic cover so it can be like a convertible in the summer.

A: My 2007 wrangler has an up and down seat adjustment. It’s an X unlimited with a fancy interior package – I can’t remember the details, and the package codes have probably changed anyway. I can’t find it on Jeep.com right now, just tell the dealer that you need that option.
If it’s not available any more, then look into getting a set of the aftermarket lift blocks for the 2003 – 2006 wranglers, they should work for the 2010 – 2011 jeeps as well.
Check them out here:

Q: Among the Jeep Wranglers from the 1994 year, what is the differnce between the SE, Sahara, and the Renegade?
I am trying to choose between three 1994 Jeep Wranglers. One is a Sahara, the other a Renegade, and the last one an SE. which one is the best option? What’s the difference?

A: Base (also referred to as “S” & “SE” at different points in the model run; first few years the back seat and rear bumperettes were optional, some years the 6cyl engine was an option, other years only the 4cyl was available in the “Base” model)

Sahara (which came standard with most available options, including body color fender flares and alloy wheels)

From 1991 until 1994, Jeep produced an options package on the YJ Wrangler listed as the “Renegade Decor Group”. Initially, all Renegades were White, Black or Red. In 1992, Blue was added, in 1993, Bronze. The Renegade Decor Group was a $4,266.00 option over a base Wrangler in 1991 and included special alloy wheels, exclusive body flares, along with many other features.

Contents of the Renegade Decor Package

4.0 Litre I-6 Engine

Q: Are jeep wranglers with hard tops easy to break into?
Im thinking of getting an older model Jeep Wrangler with a hard top, but the truck I have has gotten broken into and my new stereo was stolen. Would i have to worry more about getting broken into with a Wrangler as opposed to any other car?

A: No its just like a regular car the only easy way to get in is break a window

Q: what years of jeep wranglers have interchangeable parts?
I have a 1997 jeep wrangler with a 4cyl, four wheel drive. I want to get a lot of different items for it, one being a 6cyl engine, another is a soundbar, etc.

A: You would be better off selling the 4 cylinder Jeep and buying another one with a 6 cylinder already installed from the factory. Engine swapping is a very tedious and expensive process, and does not always end up with the finished results you may expect, (even if you are a good mechanic). It can be done if you have money and time to burn, but the job is best left to customizing or hot rod shops who are familiar with the type of conversion you want to do.

Q: How dangerous are Jeep Wranglers?
I’ll be getting my first car soon, and I really love Jeep Wranglers. My parents claim they are too easy to flip over while driving. How dangerous are they? Can anyone who owns a Wrangler clarify this?

A: I got my first Jeep when I was 14. I had it on 2 wheels many times, but never rolled it. In fact, 23 years later, I still have the same Jeep along with a few more. My little sister had a Wrangler for her 1st car. She never rolled it. Then it was passed down to our youngest brother. He never rolled it and still has it after 10 years.
They were known to roll back in the CJ days (pre 1987), but the YJ was built to solve that problem….a little wider and lower to the ground. The newer Jeeps are even more stable.
Your parents are stuck on old information.
The Ford Explorer was also known for roll overs, but that did not stop people from buying them. Ends up Ford blamed the tires.
As long as you drive it like an off road vehicle rather than a sports car, you will be fine!

Q: Is the automatic transmission any good in the newer jeep wranglers?
I like the 5 speed, but the ole knee doesnt, so I want to buy a jeep with the automatic, are they good or are they junk? The trans, not the jeeps themselves! I want to do some light to moderate off roading so it would have to be able to take a bit if punishment. Thanks!
I am looking at a 1997 with 94k on the trans.

A: I have a 2000 TJ with automatic transmission and 115,000 plus miles on it. No problems with the transmission and I do some off roading with it. Actually many off roaders prefer the automatic over the 5 speed.

Q: Does anyone know of any websites for customising YJ jeep wranglers?
I am currently trying to cutomise my jeep ‘92 model YJ wrangler and am struggling to find websites that offer personal advice as to what parts are suitable for my car. i am basically looking for a new roll cage, along with suitable roll cage padding and the likes but havent had much luck. any help welcome!!

thanks

A: 4WD.com

Q: How Serious is it that my Jeep Wranglers Rear axle has a pinion seal leak?
The leak seems minor I see no puddles under the Jeep just a little bit of oil on the bottom of the Diff.

A: Seal leaks only have one way to go and that’s to worsen. If it gets bad enough you’ll do damage to the pinion bearing and to the gears. Best to get it fixed before it get’s to that point. Keep an eye on it and make sure the level is checked frequently.

Q: do the new jeep wranglers have a differned bolt pattern for wheels then then tj’s ?
looking for cheap rims for my 05 wrangler, i got 245/75-16 tires. i see alot of the new jeep steelies. would they fit?

A: They sure do and no they won’t.

Your TJ has 5×4.5 bolt patttern, the new JK’s are 5×5

Q: Where are the best places to find deals on Jeep Wranglers?
I have heard that there are numerous dealerships that are closing their doors because of the economy. Does this mean that they are going to have to get rid of all of their inventory? If so, that would suggest that there are going to be deals. Where should I be looking to be sure that I do not miss out on any deals for the Wranglers?

A: at any auction house in any state, if not at any local junk yard where the jeep is no longer working properly.

Q: What Year Did Jeep Wranglers start getting Stock Rear Disk Brakes?
I have a 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Edition (TJ) that I was doing its scheduled differential fluid change on, and I found Broken teeth on the Rear Differential Gears. Well I have heard that the ring and Pinion gears are a big hassle to change out without special tools, So I was hoping to find another Jeep at a Junk Yard to buy a used differential. Well I also want to kill two birds with one stone and find a rear diff. with rear disk brakes since i have drums right now. So this brings me to my question, What year do Jeep Wranglers start getting stock rear disk brakes, if they even have started…… also, Would the part be compatible to fit on my Jeep? I am not sure what gearing I have right now, but I do know that it is not a limited slip differential. So of course, It would be even more cool to kill three birds with one stone and find a rear diff. with a limited slip diff. also. Does the limited slip diff. come standard on any models? Would a Cherokee Diff be Compatible? Thanks

A: You may as well replace the entire axle if you’re going this route. A Ford 8.8 out of a1995-2001 Ford Explorer is a very common swap. It is the correct width, same lug pattern, much stronger and they are easy to find with disc brakes. You can find them around for a few hundred bux at junk yards. M.O.R.E. and many others sell kits to relocate the control arm brackets and spring perches, but you’ll need to know how to weld, or know a welder to do these mods. If you go this route make sure you match the gear ratio to your front end – different front/rear ratios will blow up your transfer case when in 4wd.

The disc brake conversion won’t help much for what its worth – trust me, I tried it. If you must, TeraFlex sells a conversion kit that uses mid/late 1990’s ZJ brakes.

If you don’t want to go this route check the jeep message boards and enthusiast sites, you are VERY likely to find a person that is doing this mod and will either give your their stock axle, or sell it to you VERY cheap. It will bolt straight in and get you up and running in the shortest amount of time for the least amount of $. Good Luck!

Q: How much does a ford F650?
http://www.distrocars.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/2006-Ford-F-650-Front-Side-590×442.jpg
I am Brazilian and I am with plans to bring to Brazil.
Here there is this pickup truck.
Here we do not have these pickup truck.

A: The F650 is not a pick up truck it is a cab and chassis. That means it comes from the factory with just a cab It can have a wide or narrow chassis depending on what accessory you want to add on the chassis. A flat bed a dump box etc. it can also have a custom made pickup box added. I not sure from your question if your asking for the weight which can vary with engine size and suspension. Or are you asking how much it would cost to ship it.

Q: what is the MPG for a Ford F650?
I’m trying to figure this out but i cant find it
can anyone help

I seen one of these beasts last year at work and i always wanted to know

A: Truck Trend magazine estimated it at 9 mpg city / 12 mpg highway.

Truly a beast of a truck, though. If you needed to tow and haul a lot of stuff simultaneously, this is the machine for you.

Q: jeep wrangler or ford f650?
which looks better when custom wheels, lift kits etc…

A: Jeep, hands down!! There are sooo many after markets things for jeeps…but I would even pick a stock jeep over any other vehicle any day! hence my nick….

Q: Questions about the Ford F650..?
1. What are some good things about this truck?
2. What are some bad things about this truck?
3. Is it good for off-road or/and snow?

A: A 650 is a medium duty truck, so it was designed to work – Haul, pull, push, what ever you need. The only downside is the fuel economy, but it’s a truck, not a economy car. It’s not built for off roading, like mud holes or dune running, it’s just too big, but dirt roads & poor driveways are fine. One of the jobs it’s built for is a smaller dump truck with a snow plow, so pushing a plow is fine, also.

Q: 1979 ford f650 double cab specifications?
so im looking at buying a 79 f 600 double cab but i need to know how much the total Weight is for registration and safety, it used to be a flat bed with a hydraulic dump bed but it has been converted to a normal truck bed ( i believe the bed is a 6 ft bed ) and it still has the dump hydraulic.
i really just need a close number so that i don’t have to go to a weigh station and waste my money…
also if you know any other specs on this year and style of truck please be free to mention them.
thanks

A: Could be about anything, depends on how it was spec’ed out and built. Maybe take the vin to a dealer and they could tell you

Q: why doesn’t my left taillight work on ford f650 box truck?
I have only the running lights on the left tail light. No turn signal and no brake light. I traced the wire for the turn/stop light as far as I could and have no power. the left front works and so do both right lights. I checked fuses and relays to no avail. When you turn on the left turn signal it blinks very fast on only the left front. the right side blinks fine and the four wasys blink at the right rate, except on that one light. Any ideas.

A: You might want to check to see if system is grounded on that side. Possibly a broken ground wire so the current is not circulating.

It could possibly be a defective flasher or dimmer switch, I have had that problem with my 1964 Thunderbird in the past and replaced both and corrected the problem.

Like wise it could be the switch in the steering column, I would suggest taking it to an auto electrical shop and have them trace it down.

Q: 4×4 truck what is the heavy-est load or thing you ever pulled?
what is the heavy-est thing or load you pulled with a 4×4 truck?what is the max wait a ford f350 can pull?i have a 5 wheel 7×50 foot trailer 6 foot high rail’s?i load about 250 or more full size trees in my trailer and it ways most of the time fully loaded at 80,000 pounds or more?i use a semi truck now to pull it.i own the trailer but not the semi?is there any 4×4 trucks out there that will hual my trailer?like a ford f350 or even a ford f650 ?is it a crazy idea to hual a trailer that heavy or big with a 4×4 truck?and how do i hook up the trailer brakes to a 4×4 truck.the trailer bracks are air?i know i sound crazy but i want to buy a brand new 4×4 truck to hual my trailer fully loaded not a semi truck.i also load and un load my trailer its a lot of work.i work for a land clearing and tree farm comp.i’m not that smart but i work very very hard?

A: Hi…..Daddytrucker is right. I have a Ford F-450 Superduty flatbed tow truck, 7.3 diesel, and low range manual transmission. I can tow most anything with it, but it wouldnt last long if i was to tow 80,000 lbs. My truck can handle 3 forklifts on the bed, and maybe a big Suburban on the wheel-lift, but thats about it. Take your money and get a used semi in good condition. You can probably find a good one for about $30,000 or so, same price as a new 4×4 one ton pick-up. Look on ebay under “commercial trucks”. I have bought 3 4×4 trucks on ebay so far, and always made money. I know insurance and fuel costs are higher on a big truck, but if you get anything smaller, and need to hit the brakes under load, you gonna end up in a ditch anyway, may even kill yourself or someone else. I also have a 75 GMC 1 ton pickup, 350 gas, low range transmission,….i load that thing up with 5 or 6,000 lbs of gravel occasionally, but thats about max payload, probably over. Buy the right truck for the job at hand, otherwise, your gonna lose in the long run. I have a friend who recently bought a 1/2 ton Silverado X-Cab pickup, he got a great price on it. But, the guy who had it before him pulled a big gooseneck trailer with it, and moved farm equipment, so, its all wore out. The suspension, transmission, and motor are virtually whipped. He only uses it for transportation, but as a truck its virtually worthless now. Maybe you can get a Semi truck and extend the frame, ad a “grapple” to it? Something that would assist you in moving the logs, or a trailer that dumps. The older you get, the harder the work is gonna get. Make the machine do the work, and you just operate it. Good Luck!!

Q: if the zombie apocalypse happened, what would you drive? lol?
idk bout any of yall but i believe id be in a ford f650 truck or suv. and if you dont know what that is google it cause it is one badass vehicle. lol or id go really small like a bolted in go cart. or even an mwrap. what do you think?

Q: using vegetable oil instead of gasoline
ive heard about people using vegetable oil to replace gasoline, would i be able to do that to a ford f650?
i think a f650 does use diesel, i dont know for sure but its a monster and i would be suprised if it didnt
okay, using vegetable oil to fuel a vehicle, there, better choice of words

A: First of all you can’t replace gasoline with vegetable oil. However you can replace diesel fuel with vegetable oil to burn in a diesel engine. In order to use vegetable oil, you’ll need to filter it and heat it up to 160° to burn. Most applications use two fuel tanks. One for diesel (to warm up the engine), and one for vegetable oil. The heat from the diesel can also be used to warm up the vegetable oil, then you can switch tanks. About 5 min’s before turning off the engine you’ll need to switch back to diesel to clean out the fuel line, or you won’t be able to start your cold engine with oil.

Q: Has anyone seen those news trucks?
Okay so its kind of like the Ford f650’s but it might be the newer ones like 2009 maybe I’m not sure it might be a different one it look like an 18wheeler the the f650’s but the back looks like an chevy avalanche but They are awesome has anyone else seen them?
I want to know what kind they are so if you havn’t seen them then whats the point in answering my question

A: no

Q: Question about weights of these two cars…?
I need to know the weight of the Chrysler Crossfire and the Ford F650 for a project.

A: Chrysler Crossfire:

3140 lbs for the manual
3174 lbs for the automatic
source: http://www.enquirer.com/columns/wheels/columns/041004_crossfire.html

Ford F-150:

Weights: gross vehicle weight rating (lbs) 6,649, curb weight (lbs) 4,709, gross trailer weight braked (lbs) 6,499 and max payload (lbs) 1,889

Q: auto loans for good income, bad credit?
Was wondering where or what banks finance auto loans for people with bad credit, but good income. Im looking to buy a medium duty truck for a business im trying to start, but i cant seem to find anyone that will finance me due to my credit. ive looked into buying an older cheaper truck, but still cant seem to find anyone who will finance it. ive got a good job with good pay, but the only lenders i can find want to lend to certain dealers and none of them sell medium duty trucks. (I.E. Chevy Kodiak, GMC Topkick, Ford F650),

A: Auto finance is what I do for a living and with bad credit you face some major problems because of both your credit, the truck you want and the fact that it’s going to be used for business.

Sub-prime auto lenders do not finance anything over a 3/4 ton (there are a couple that will do 1-tons) and none of them fill finance a vehicle that is going to be used for business period.

This is due to the large amounts of repossessions they have suffered in the past related to this type of vehicle.

Your best option and I hate to say this but is going to be to find a buy here pay here lot that sells the types of trucks you need.

Good luck.

Q: Car Insurance Question?
I am a little under 15 and a half years old and my dad has debated and almost bought a lot of cars for me, from ford f650’s to 1965 or higher mustangs and jaguars. but so far we have thought that the car that would be good for my first car would be a 1994 Ford Mustang with a V8 with 30k miles0. which is perfect because that was the year i was born. So my question is that since its a sports car and its V8 about how much would my insurance be when i could start driving by myself?/ insurance for the other kinds of cars/trucks?
ive also been driving since i was 4

A: If you’d bothered to read some of the questions here, you’d have seen that we CANNOT give any kind of premium quote or estimate here; we don’t know anything about you except your age! At your age, your ONLY source for insurance is your parents’ agent/company, so you’ll have to call them for figures.

Advice from 30 years’ experience in insurance–skip the Mustang (the insurance will kill you even if the car doesn’t); and get a beater you can pay cash for until you get some driving experience under your belt. Then you can think about the babe magnet.

Q: Can anyone tell me what the 2nd fuse from the bottom on the right side on the 2000 Ford F650 is for?
I have a 2000 Ford F650 26 foot box truck with the Cat diesel. After some heavy rain, a draw on the power killed the batteries. I installed new batteries and started the truck and then it wouldn’t turn off despite turning it to the off position and removing the key.
I traced it to the interior fuse panel on the right side, 2nd from the bottom…it’s 30 amp (green).
It doesn’t appear to cause any ill effects but I want to make sure it’s not disabling anything serious.

Anyone know what this fuse is for or do you have an owners manual and can find out?
Thanks JC! That was a tremendous help. I looked all over and never found that!

A: Ford has service manuals online.

https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

Search 2000 F650 and your service manual will come up.

You want either page 117 or 119. (just save the pdf to your desktop {right click > save as…} and use the go to page in the top)

According to the manual and your description…
its either terminal 11 or 30 (the only 30 amp fuses)

#11 30A Wiper Motor, Washer Pump Relay
#30 30A 7.3L Power Stroke PCM Diode, 7.3L Power Stroke Fuel Heater

Good luck! (I think its #30)

Q: Is the new Ferrari 458 going to save Europe?
First it was the Corvette Z06. Now its the Nissan GTR. Both have been breaking records round the Nurburgring and making those Ferrari owners question the point in their 6 figure investment.

Will the new Ferrari 458 ‘Italia’ do what it needs to and move the goalposts? The stats say it should, but what do you think?

A: I think it would.Ferraris are fast so why wouldn’t the 458 be fast? Its a lot faster than an F430 so I think it should. But, with a 6figure price tag, ahhmmm……..I’ll probably get something cheaper like the Corvette ZR1 which is more than 100 grand less than what the 458 likely cost. The GTR is fast but the ZR1 is faster.I’ve heard that the current record holder is the 600hp ACR Dodge Viper with a time of 7:22.1 so probably the 458 can tie that.Wait a minute. There is something Europe can do to compete against the Japanese and Americans.Their diesel engines, particularly the one in the Audi R10.

Q: Will there be a stripped out, hardcore version of the Ferrari 458?
When Ferrari did the 360, they was the 360 CS (Challenge Stradale) and when they did the 430 they did the 430 Scuderia. Will there be a racing 458?

A: Already been done;

http://www.gtspirit.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/official_ferrari_458_challenge_racer.jpg

Q: what’s the name of the opening song on top gear season 15 episode 6, when they were testing the ferrari 458?
what’s the name of the opening song they’re playing when they first show the ferrari 458 italia

A: Have no idea

Q: when is the ferrari 458 Italia coming out on forza 3?
is there an exact date??? is it coming out for free

A: If I’m not mistaken, it already came out in a DLC car pack. I don’t remember which one, but I think I saw once, but then again I’m not sure so don’t quote me on that.

Q: which car is better Ferrari 458 Italia, Aston Martin V12 Vantage, Lamborghini Gallardo or Porsche 911 turbo?

A: 458 italia, of course.

Q: which is better a ferrari 458 italia or porshe 911 gt3 rs?

A: The 458 just came out while the 911 GT3 is still based on 2005-2006 technology. The 458 will surely walk the GT3. Its not even in the same playing field.

Q: Witch one is better Ferrari 458 Italia or a lamborghini?

A: the 458 isn’t even made yet, it’s a bunch of drawings, it will be unveiled at the next Frankfurt motor show, i think september 15-27 2009, so i’ll take any trim murcielago or any trim gallardo, or reventon, otherwise the ferrari would be my last choice.

Q: Do ugly poor people have Ferrari 458?
It costs 200000 $ so do poor people use this car? I have a Merc worth 165000$.

A: Could if he worked hard for it.

Q: What is the waiting list for the Ferrari 458??????????

A: A list. Of people who are waiting. Self explanatory. You don’t just stroll up to a dealer and ask for your Ferrari.

Q: how much is the ferrari 458 Italia (US dollar)?
i would like to know how much this fine automobile is although i will probably never have it..but it seems as though in the video introducing it the guy made it seemed like it was not that expensive but thank you!

A: Base Price: [expected to start at 150,000]

Q: Should I buy a Lamborghini Murcielago or a Ferrari 458 Italia when spring starts to roll around?
I like the 458 better just no convertible. Will they get one, and if so when.

I want power and speed, but also practicality and luxury. I REALLY want the Ferrari just i don’t know if they are going to make a convertible. Price isn’t a problem as long as it’s under a half million. Waiting list isn’t a big deal either because I own a couple other Ferraris and Lamborghinis so that moves me up on the list, plus i know I know a few people at the dealership and in Italy that said they can help me out.

Which one do you think i should get? Or even any other better suggestions

A: Both!!!

Q: Corvette ZR1 or Ferrari 458 Italia, which care would you want and why?

A: Actually I would like a Corvette Z06. But, to answer your question I would prefer the ZR1. It is just as fast and 1/3 the price. It is just a better car than Ferrari.

Q: Is the Ferrari 458 Italia an automatic?

A: Sort of.

It’s a seven speed dual clutch sequential manual, but they have an automatic mode, so when it’s in that mode the experience is similar to a conventional automatic, although mechanically it’s quite different.

BTW – you could have found this on Ferrari’s web site in less time than it probably took you to post this question.

Also Richard is mistaken, the 458 predecessor (the F430) was available with a 6 speed manual, but not this car.

Q: SR Electric Ferrari 458 Italia Clone?
Has anyone gotten more information about this? Is Super Replicas for real?
As in, are they an actual business making car replicas? I haven’t heard anyone who purchased one or if their Electric Ferrari Italia is real.

A: The answer is in your question; replica means its not real, copy or close reproduction. Check out their disclaimers on their web page. http://www.supereplicas.com/disclaimer.php

Q: would ya have a lamborghini lp670-4 superveloce or a ferrari 458 italia?

A: I would usually take the Ferrari, but in this case, I gotta go with the Lamborghini. Just a better looking car is what it comes down to for me.
