I’m just REALLY curious how much a Ferrari 458 Italia cost. I think I’m going to get one but I need to knhow how much it costs. Or atleast the max. price and the min.

A: Actually it depends on the state.
I pulled the muffler, cats and all the pipes off my truck. Puts out 87 db at idle and 121 at 3000 RPM.

I like the 458 better just no convertible. Will they get one, and if so when.
I want power and speed, but also practicality and luxury. I REALLY want the Ferrari just i don’t know if they are going to make a convertible. Price isn’t a problem as long as it’s under a half million.

A: normally, i like lamborghini more than ferrari, but i think in this case the ferrari 458 would be better. the murcielago is getting really old, and while it isn’t outdated yet, it isn’t as “fresh” anymore.
what you could do is wait a year for lamborghini to unveil their next supercar, i’m guessing it will be a mix between the sesto elemento concept and the current murcielago.
for 500k though, you can look into way better cars. buying used, you could get a ferrari 360 modena, a lamborghini diablo, two ferrari testarossas, and a lamborghini gallardo. you’d be an idiot to waste it on the one lamborghini or ferrari.

A: They are already released, my father bought his 458 several weeks ago. And i would say the enzo is far better because it was initially built for racing and is practically the same as a Maserati MC12. However, classic Ferraris are far superior, pops also had a Testarossa which in my opinion is the best car made,,,too bad it wrecked

Back in August I drove by a 458 in a neighborhood that was being put out by firefighters. Then around Christmas there was one at the mall that had smoke pouring out the back. And then this morning there were the charred remains of one on the freeway…So what’s going on here?
A: There were 5 cases in 2010, after it had only been on sale for a few months, causing a recall of 458 Italias. Basically there’s glue in the rear wheelarch which happens to catch fire if you work the engine a bit too hard.

A: You guys should know that Ferrari does not sell cars to just any average Joe.
For example, if you won Lotto and walked in with a bag of $275 K to buy 458, it is NOT yours (Well not Yet)
They want you to fill out an application. You have to list ALL your cars you have owned in your life. Then they evaluate you as a potential owner.
You see they just don’t sell a car, they sell the Name Ferrari.

A: i doubt i can buy one those even with 90k year but a lease i can believe that the Lamborgini Gallardo LP560-4 will run at price tag between $198,000 – $221,000, horsepower of the LP560-4 is 552hp All wheel drive, mpg city is around 12 to 14, at hwy is at 20mpg. maintenance cost i not so sure about but i do it’s more cheaper than ferrari maintenance.As for the ferrari 458 italia unless you are in Europe or you can ship in from Italy you have to wait for a US spec 458. priceing for the 458 is almost like the Gallardo may a bit more, horsepower is around 570hp 2 wheel drive, mpg city 11 and 17 hwy (this the Euro spec version)

So should i get a 2009 – 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo lp560-4 or a Ferarri 458 Italia? i can’t afford any right now because i’m sure there around $160,000 – $230,000. I’ll just wait until they get into the $140,000 range.

A: This is, so far, the only fire involving a 458 Italia. There have been several fires in the old Gallardo, but none so far in the LP560-4 model.
You’ll have to wait 5 or more years for both cars to depreciate to the $140,000 mark thanks to limited production and high demand.
Neither car will be practical on the road thanks to their low ground clearance, poor visibility, and poor fuel economy. That said, very few supercars can be used for everyday use. The only two vehicles which enjoy that distinction are the Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8 V10.
Both cars are very comparable, but I would suggest you buy the R8 V10. It has the same engine as the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, Audi’s brilliant Quattro AWD system, exceptional visibility, respectable ground clearance, and styling to give the Lambo and Ferrari a run for their money. They currently sell for about $160,000 but should drop in price in a few years. They will certainly enter your price range before the Ferrari and Lamborghini do.
You mentioned how you want a sports car that doesn’t break down. An Italian car of old was notoriously unreliable. While modern cars are generally more reliable, exotic supercars occasionally have issues. The beauty of the R8 is it is built with German precision (the best sort of precision), so you needn’t worry about shoddy build quality.
Also, note that Audi owns Lamborghini, so the Gallardo should be very reliable as well. I can’t say how good the Ferrari’s reliability will be since it is a new car. If there is any consolation, whenever Ferrari’s F1 team performs poorly, their road cars are excellent. Their F1 team hasn’t done well lately, most likely b/c their engineers have been obsessing over making the 458 as good as it can be. With any luck, that translates to improved reliability.
If you are adamant about having either the Ferrari or Lamborghini, you must decide what you want the car to be like. The Ferrari is rear wheel drive, has a V8, and has a paddle shift gearbox. The Lamborghini is all-wheel-drive, has a V10, and is available with either a manual transmission or a flappy paddle gearbox. Other than that, you just have to decide which you think looks the best: the Lamborghini’s striking angles, or the Ferrari’s exquisite curves.
