Q: How much does a ford F650?
http://www.distrocars.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/2006-Ford-F-650-Front-Side-590×442.jpg
I am Brazilian and I am with plans to bring to Brazil.
Here there is this pickup truck.
Here we do not have these pickup truck.

A: The F650 is not a pick up truck it is a cab and chassis. That means it comes from the factory with just a cab It can have a wide or narrow chassis depending on what accessory you want to add on the chassis. A flat bed a dump box etc. it can also have a custom made pickup box added. I not sure from your question if your asking for the weight which can vary with engine size and suspension. Or are you asking how much it would cost to ship it.

Q: what is the MPG for a Ford F650?
I’m trying to figure this out but i cant find it
can anyone help

I seen one of these beasts last year at work and i always wanted to know

A: Truck Trend magazine estimated it at 9 mpg city / 12 mpg highway.

Truly a beast of a truck, though. If you needed to tow and haul a lot of stuff simultaneously, this is the machine for you.

Q: jeep wrangler or ford f650?
which looks better when custom wheels, lift kits etc…

A: Jeep, hands down!! There are sooo many after markets things for jeeps…but I would even pick a stock jeep over any other vehicle any day! hence my nick….

Q: Questions about the Ford F650..?
1. What are some good things about this truck?
2. What are some bad things about this truck?
3. Is it good for off-road or/and snow?

A: A 650 is a medium duty truck, so it was designed to work – Haul, pull, push, what ever you need. The only downside is the fuel economy, but it’s a truck, not a economy car. It’s not built for off roading, like mud holes or dune running, it’s just too big, but dirt roads & poor driveways are fine. One of the jobs it’s built for is a smaller dump truck with a snow plow, so pushing a plow is fine, also.

Q: 1979 ford f650 double cab specifications?
so im looking at buying a 79 f 600 double cab but i need to know how much the total Weight is for registration and safety, it used to be a flat bed with a hydraulic dump bed but it has been converted to a normal truck bed ( i believe the bed is a 6 ft bed ) and it still has the dump hydraulic.
i really just need a close number so that i don’t have to go to a weigh station and waste my money…
also if you know any other specs on this year and style of truck please be free to mention them.
thanks

A: Could be about anything, depends on how it was spec’ed out and built. Maybe take the vin to a dealer and they could tell you

Q: why doesn’t my left taillight work on ford f650 box truck?
I have only the running lights on the left tail light. No turn signal and no brake light. I traced the wire for the turn/stop light as far as I could and have no power. the left front works and so do both right lights. I checked fuses and relays to no avail. When you turn on the left turn signal it blinks very fast on only the left front. the right side blinks fine and the four wasys blink at the right rate, except on that one light. Any ideas.

A: You might want to check to see if system is grounded on that side. Possibly a broken ground wire so the current is not circulating.

It could possibly be a defective flasher or dimmer switch, I have had that problem with my 1964 Thunderbird in the past and replaced both and corrected the problem.

Like wise it could be the switch in the steering column, I would suggest taking it to an auto electrical shop and have them trace it down.

Q: 4×4 truck what is the heavy-est load or thing you ever pulled?
what is the heavy-est thing or load you pulled with a 4×4 truck?what is the max wait a ford f350 can pull?i have a 5 wheel 7×50 foot trailer 6 foot high rail’s?i load about 250 or more full size trees in my trailer and it ways most of the time fully loaded at 80,000 pounds or more?i use a semi truck now to pull it.i own the trailer but not the semi?is there any 4×4 trucks out there that will hual my trailer?like a ford f350 or even a ford f650 ?is it a crazy idea to hual a trailer that heavy or big with a 4×4 truck?and how do i hook up the trailer brakes to a 4×4 truck.the trailer bracks are air?i know i sound crazy but i want to buy a brand new 4×4 truck to hual my trailer fully loaded not a semi truck.i also load and un load my trailer its a lot of work.i work for a land clearing and tree farm comp.i’m not that smart but i work very very hard?

A: Hi…..Daddytrucker is right. I have a Ford F-450 Superduty flatbed tow truck, 7.3 diesel, and low range manual transmission. I can tow most anything with it, but it wouldnt last long if i was to tow 80,000 lbs. My truck can handle 3 forklifts on the bed, and maybe a big Suburban on the wheel-lift, but thats about it. Take your money and get a used semi in good condition. You can probably find a good one for about $30,000 or so, same price as a new 4×4 one ton pick-up. Look on ebay under “commercial trucks”. I have bought 3 4×4 trucks on ebay so far, and always made money. I know insurance and fuel costs are higher on a big truck, but if you get anything smaller, and need to hit the brakes under load, you gonna end up in a ditch anyway, may even kill yourself or someone else. I also have a 75 GMC 1 ton pickup, 350 gas, low range transmission,….i load that thing up with 5 or 6,000 lbs of gravel occasionally, but thats about max payload, probably over. Buy the right truck for the job at hand, otherwise, your gonna lose in the long run. I have a friend who recently bought a 1/2 ton Silverado X-Cab pickup, he got a great price on it. But, the guy who had it before him pulled a big gooseneck trailer with it, and moved farm equipment, so, its all wore out. The suspension, transmission, and motor are virtually whipped. He only uses it for transportation, but as a truck its virtually worthless now. Maybe you can get a Semi truck and extend the frame, ad a “grapple” to it? Something that would assist you in moving the logs, or a trailer that dumps. The older you get, the harder the work is gonna get. Make the machine do the work, and you just operate it. Good Luck!!

Q: using vegetable oil instead of gasoline
ive heard about people using vegetable oil to replace gasoline, would i be able to do that to a ford f650?
i think a f650 does use diesel, i dont know for sure but its a monster and i would be suprised if it didnt
okay, using vegetable oil to fuel a vehicle, there, better choice of words

A: First of all you can’t replace gasoline with vegetable oil. However you can replace diesel fuel with vegetable oil to burn in a diesel engine. In order to use vegetable oil, you’ll need to filter it and heat it up to 160° to burn. Most applications use two fuel tanks. One for diesel (to warm up the engine), and one for vegetable oil. The heat from the diesel can also be used to warm up the vegetable oil, then you can switch tanks. About 5 min’s before turning off the engine you’ll need to switch back to diesel to clean out the fuel line, or you won’t be able to start your cold engine with oil.

Q: Has anyone seen those news trucks?
Okay so its kind of like the Ford f650’s but it might be the newer ones like 2009 maybe I’m not sure it might be a different one it look like an 18wheeler the the f650’s but the back looks like an chevy avalanche but They are awesome has anyone else seen them?

Q: auto loans for good income, bad credit?
Was wondering where or what banks finance auto loans for people with bad credit, but good income. Im looking to buy a medium duty truck for a business im trying to start, but i cant seem to find anyone that will finance me due to my credit. ive looked into buying an older cheaper truck, but still cant seem to find anyone who will finance it. ive got a good job with good pay, but the only lenders i can find want to lend to certain dealers and none of them sell medium duty trucks. (I.E. Chevy Kodiak, GMC Topkick, Ford F650),

A: Auto finance is what I do for a living and with bad credit you face some major problems because of both your credit, the truck you want and the fact that it’s going to be used for business.

Sub-prime auto lenders do not finance anything over a 3/4 ton (there are a couple that will do 1-tons) and none of them fill finance a vehicle that is going to be used for business period.

This is due to the large amounts of repossessions they have suffered in the past related to this type of vehicle.

Your best option and I hate to say this but is going to be to find a buy here pay here lot that sells the types of trucks you need.

Good luck.

Q: Car Insurance Question?
I am a little under 15 and a half years old and my dad has debated and almost bought a lot of cars for me, from ford f650’s to 1965 or higher mustangs and jaguars. but so far we have thought that the car that would be good for my first car would be a 1994 Ford Mustang with a V8 with 30k miles0. which is perfect because that was the year i was born. So my question is that since its a sports car and its V8 about how much would my insurance be when i could start driving by myself?/ insurance for the other kinds of cars/trucks?
ive also been driving since i was 4

A: If you’d bothered to read some of the questions here, you’d have seen that we CANNOT give any kind of premium quote or estimate here; we don’t know anything about you except your age! At your age, your ONLY source for insurance is your parents’ agent/company, so you’ll have to call them for figures.

Advice from 30 years’ experience in insurance–skip the Mustang (the insurance will kill you even if the car doesn’t); and get a beater you can pay cash for until you get some driving experience under your belt. Then you can think about the babe magnet.

Q: Can anyone tell me what the 2nd fuse from the bottom on the right side on the 2000 Ford F650 is for?
I have a 2000 Ford F650 26 foot box truck with the Cat diesel. After some heavy rain, a draw on the power killed the batteries. I installed new batteries and started the truck and then it wouldn’t turn off despite turning it to the off position and removing the key.
I traced it to the interior fuse panel on the right side, 2nd from the bottom…it’s 30 amp (green).
It doesn’t appear to cause any ill effects but I want to make sure it’s not disabling anything serious.

Anyone know what this fuse is for or do you have an owners manual and can find out?
Thanks JC! That was a tremendous help. I looked all over and never found that!

A: Ford has service manuals online.

https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenance/owners_manuals/default.asp

Search 2000 F650 and your service manual will come up.

You want either page 117 or 119. (just save the pdf to your desktop {right click > save as…} and use the go to page in the top)

According to the manual and your description…
its either terminal 11 or 30 (the only 30 amp fuses)

#11 30A Wiper Motor, Washer Pump Relay
#30 30A 7.3L Power Stroke PCM Diode, 7.3L Power Stroke Fuel Heater

Good luck! (I think its #30)
