Q: What are the trunk dimensions of a Jeep Wrangler?
Mainly I want to know the depth from the back of the second row to the trunk tailgate. I am going to purchase a 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ (the one I am currently looking at is an 04) and was wondering about putting subs behind the seat. They trunk space looks small (width and height look enough) and so if anyone knows what kind of space Im dealing with (depth looks to be a problem), it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Q: How to adjust the clutch pedal on a 2008 Jeep wrangler?
I just got a 2008 Jeep Wrangler and the clutch feels weird I have a 91 Jeep wrangler yj and I like the feel of it way better when I push the clutch to the floor it engages about a quarter of the way up. On the newer 2008 Jeep when I push it to the floor it dosent engage until 75% of the way up its causing me to stall it alot and is very annoying is there a way I can tighten it?
A: Since the clutch on any jeep vehicle is a non adjustable type system, there is no way that you can adjust it , if the pedal is soft and starts to engage, that far up the travel length, your clutch disk is worn out and needs to be replaced. Remember to replace the throw out bearing and the pressure plate at the same time. Check out the CHILTON PUBLISHING COMPANY as they print a very use full manuel for jeeps.
Q: How do I prevent the wipers on my Jeep Wrangler from icing up and collecting snow?
This is a 1997 Jeep Wrangler and even though I don’t worry about getting stuck in the snow, the wipers collect snow and ice heavily and soon they aren’t able to wipe the windshield unless I stop, get out and crack the snow/ice off the wipers every few minutes.
A: The special wipers mentioned have boots to prevent ice accumulation on the wipers. Rain-X and other compounds do make the ice less likely to accumulate.
The missing links are – make sure you keep the defroster on full (diverting the air to the floor vents lets the windshield cool enough for ice to form). – the biggie is to replace the wiper ARMS not just the blades, the springs weaken with time and allow the blades to skip (or not press hard enough to actually remove the ice)

A: A 20 gallon tank of gasoline last me more than a month in my 2003 Jeep TJ Rubicon. Most Hybrids can not claim this. Oh yeah, it is my daily driver.

I was wanting a Wrangler, CJ, YJ, whatever, for a summer commuter vehicle and part-time off-road fun. I have been discourage from getting the Jeep because even the 4 cylinder with manual transmission doesn’t get much better gas mileage than my 98 z71. So, what would be some similar vehicles with great gas mileage so that I could run around with no doors this summer?
A: if you can actually find one, try an old Toyota Land Cruiser. My God are those great little workhorses!

But if you want gas mileage, you’re totally looking for the wrong type of car…. lol. The most you’ll be lucky to get is 20 mpg.

A: I like Wades idea but you get more space and better sound with a real box.
Q: What is the price of a soft top with doors for a 06 Jeep Wrangler Limited Edition Extended Cab?
I need to replace or pay for a soft top for an 06 Jeep Wrangler, Rubicon, Limited Edition, Extended Cab that was still in the cartons that the manufacturer sent with the jeep when brand new. Had never been out of the cartons let alone used. It is black with tinted windows. Every jeep parts web site has a different price.
A: Soft Tops usually cost around $1000-3500, depending on quality.

I’d love to buy a Jeep Wrangler. Somebody give me the skinny on them. From the ride itself, matinence, gas mileage, and even which Wrangler to buy.
A: I own a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and I love it!!! The ride is a bit bumpy and rough at times, but that’s the joy of having a Wrangler. Also, maintenance is basic tune-up, oil change, or whatever needs repairing or replacing. As for gas mileage, you could compare it to a truck, not too good in city, but fair on highway. It is your choice to make while buying a Wrangler. The X is the standard, Sport is next up with a little more added, Sahara is more equipped, and the Rubicon is the next step up from the Sahara.

Q: jeep wrangler?
I have a 2005 model, wrangler x , will this be a good car for several years to come? I have heard good and bad. I see many of the older cherokees broke down on the side of the road. I hear that the wranglers have that same engine. My neightbor told me that she got rid of her 02 wrangler because there was always something wrong with it. NOT GOOD . Any info appreciated : )
A: I’ve had 5 Wranglers….one of em with over 150,000 miles, and I’ve never had a serious problem with any of em. I LOVE em, and have an 06 black one now.
That 4.0L engine is one of the most trustworthy, functional engines on the planet……it’s not the thriftiest on gas, but it’s about bulletproof as long as you do the maintanence on it.

If you want it bad enough, I’ll bet that there are enough people out there who got tired of theirs to get rid of it. There’s usually at least one or two on most decent sized used car lots.

A: I’m pretty sure the biggest you can go is 30 without a lift. I had a 00 Wrangler, and that was the case for mine.

My brother, my father, and my brother and i have our heart set on a jeep. it would be a super fun car, we also happen to have a gravel driveway, on a hill. so we cant convince any plows to plow our driveway! so if we got a jeep we could attach a plow and plow our own driveway! we could also remove the top, and make it hard in the winter. we also want a white,1997 and we found one and its perfect! its only 6000 dollars, 70000 miles, and its such a great boy/girl car so the whole family would liek it.

A: get the jeep you wont regret it, dont get a rav 4 those things are crap, they always break down, no power at all, and most of all they look gay… 70000 miles the jeep isnt even broke in yet, ive had my 94 wrangler for 8 years now , had many, many many , hard miles put on it and its still running strong. also this is my 3rd jeep (had to sell the last one because ex-wife didnt like it)

looking at buying a 04-06 tj jeep wrangler unlimited and was wondering what would be about the fastest speed i could go on the interstate ? and how much would a lift cause at those speeds? Local interstate speed limit is 70 so would want to be able to do around 78??
A: around 80 i would say max with a lift kit but without a lift kit you could do 85 but make sure not to move the steering wheele around. youll be better off going 70 though its not the best handling car but its the best car
